After we presented the case of Elvira, who no longer had the affection
of the family and close relatives, in our next activity four of the
members of our team held an extremely interesting discussion with
two war veterans: Mr Botezatu-91 years old and Mr Drăgotescu-97
years old. In comparison with the previous case, the elderly have some attention, appreciation and love from their family. Originally
from the village of Ploştina, Mr. Drăgotescu and Mr.Botezatu stated
that in their youth, this village was very populated and that there is a deep
connection between all the inhabitants. Through
extensive discussions like this one, between representatives of the young-old
generations, the two sides realized that they have things in common
and that they can help each other.
